Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB)

The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), located in Bellaterra (Cerdanyola del Vallès), near Barcelona, is one of the major public universities in Spain.Since its foundation in 1968, the UAB has been acknowledged for its excellence in promoting quality in teaching and in attracting international talent. Its impact on research is also noteworthy. This excellence is reflected in its position in the most prestigious international rankings. In the 2023 edition of the QS World University Rankings, the UAB placed first among Spanish universities, 178th in the world ranking and 72th within Europe.The UAB's commitment to internationalisation is reflected in its agreements with universities of all over the world, whose aim is to facilitate exchanges and joint projects for students and researchers.

University of Stavanger (UiS)

The University of Stavanger is a public, non-profit higher education institution situated on the south-west coast of Norway. The Stavanger region has about 300 000 inhabitants and is known for its dynamic and international environment being the hub of the Norwegian energy sector. As the administrative, economic, and cultural centre of Rogaland County, Stavanger has also ambitious goals to achieve a green transition. Strategically, the UiS works hard to improve the Norwegian education system through research, artistic research, education and collaboration with authorities and fields of practice. It has a strong focus on internationalisation for more than 10 years, which has yielded an increase in both exchange and full degree students, more international staff as well as more externally funded projects for curriculum development, teaching methods and digital tools. Among our objectives towards 2030 we strive to be known for flexible and popular educational programmes and enter into national and international partnerships to ensure relevance for the community and the employment sector.

Linköping University (LiU) conducts world-leading, boundary-crossing research in fields including materials science, IT and hearing.
